Project description

The new headquarters of the National Office of Civil Protection is conceived as a contemporary civic landmark that blends harmoniously into its natural and urban context. Its pure, unified volumetry, highlighted by the elegance of exposed concrete and horizontal recessed openings, reflects an architecture of clarity, balance, and environmental responsibility.

At the heart of the project, a central planted garden acts as a true green lung, bringing natural light, fresh air, and conviviality to all workspaces while providing a visual continuity with the surrounding green areas. The open-space office layout ensures flexibility and adaptability over time, supported by fluid circulation, modular partitions, and generous natural lighting.

This design prioritizes user well-being, spatial quality, and sustainable performance, making the building both a functional institution and a calm, luminous place to work.
