The Higher Institute of Computer Science (ISI) in Mahdia is located in one of Tunisia’s most culturally rich regions. At the heart of the complex, a central patio is introduced, enriched with palm trees, arches, and stone-inspired façades, creating a dialogue between contemporary education and historical architecture.

At the center of this patio lies a sunken plaza, conceived as a comfortable and welcoming space where students can gather, exchange ideas, and engage in discussion. This spatial gesture also references the ingenuity of Roman construction techniques, which form an important part of Mahdia’s architectural heritage.
